On Reaching a Decision

I am leaving.  I will take no more of your

power games.  You do not own me or

control me and I do not fear you or

admire you.  I do not even like you.  I will

not be made to feel inferior

any more.  And I will not

pretend that you are important

to me.  You are not.  You

are nothing.  With your stupid

rules and your threats and

your heavy handed ‘lessons’.

Lessons indeed.  You are a bully.

So this is it.  Get your own dinner.

Clean your mess up yourself.

Lay your hands on some other willing victim. 

I do not belong to you. I am leaving.
